Bio

Does anyone give a shit about poetry anymore? I'm not talking about "roses are red" and that type of junk. I'm talking about poetry from the gut, words you can sink your teeth into and tear the flesh away. I'm talking about the experiences that moved Kerouac and the beats to write- the furnace in the human stomach that made Dylan use his little voice to share his words. I'm talking about the poetry that cuts right to the heart of the human condition to break down barriers in the life of the individual and makes no excuse for what it is or what it is doing. Poetry can say anything or nothing at all. Experiment.

The days of coffeehouse readings and poetry circles have fallen. I am starting this digital notebook as a means to share my thoughts, views, and word experiments with anyone who has a fiercely burning coal fire in their body that blazes with the need of self expression- the most basic of human freedoms.

Everything of this is of my own mind. Hold me responsible.
